Thematic S.A.E.K. Egaleo continues to use Erasmus+ to provide mobility opportunities for learners and staff, connecting different vocational specialisations with international training, green skills and digital technologies.
The accredited project 2023-1-EL01-KA121-VET-000125086 continued the school’s structured mobility pathway for learners and staff.
Technical VET learners participated in programmes focused on energy, renewable energy systems and energy efficiency.
Sustainable energy was connected with Virtual Reality and Matterport through European mobility in Spain.

Erasmus+ in Bilbao
Learners from Thematic S.A.E.K. Egaleo participated in international mobility in Bilbao, combining sustainable energy, energy efficiency and modern digital technologies.
The experience included applications of Virtual Reality and Matterport, providing new ways to understand and visualise complex technical and energy systems.

Learners from several vocational specialisations participated in a ten-day programme in Venice in cooperation with Mediterranea Web Applications S.r.l., focusing on Augmented Reality.
Training included the Matterport platform, virtual 3D spaces, Mattertags, Dollhouse Views, digital measurements and practical exercises.
Training mobility for IT educators
IT trainers participated in a ten-day mobility programme in Milan focusing on Augmented Reality, Matterport and Web Applications.
Training included practical applications, the creation of digital 3D spaces and the use of modern online tools.

#ACTIVE — Advancement and CooperaTion in VET
#ACTIVE continued the school’s European mobility strategy with a strong focus on professional experience, Work-Based Learning and skills development.
Activities included mobility experiences in Spain, France, Portugal and Romania.
Eight vocational sectors across Europe
VET_COSMOS offered training and work experience across eight different vocational sectors.
Automation, Elevators, Information Technology, Interior Design, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage and Tourism were connected with practical experience in Romania, Italy and France.
Work experience in Italy
#OpVETWBL in Europe brought learners from four different vocational areas to Italy: Renewable Energy, Information Technology, Interior Design & Object Design and Culinary Arts.
Groups of 14 learners per vocational field participated in work placements, practical experience and specialised training.
From vocational training to European experience
Erasmus+ mobility gives participants the opportunity to study, train, work and develop new professional skills in another European country.
At the same time, mobility strengthens language and intercultural competences, personal development and European identity.
